eSeniors -“E-ntelligent Seniors: Combating ageism through digital skills” 2024
eSeniors is an Erasmus+ funded project under small scale partnerships.
The eSeniors project will allow seniors with diverse backgrounds to be involved in inclusive training activities where they will enhance their digital skills while having the opportunity to participate in a European project in this context. Seniors will be able to actively participate in empowering activities adapted to their learning needs to reduce the digital skills gap.
The eSeniors project aims to combat ageism by taking advantage of educational and lifelong learning opportunities to enable seniors’ digital skills.
The project activities include:
- A Workbook with simple instructions based on seniors’ needs dealing with tasks such as bill payment, appointment arranging, online shopping, and reaching sources of entertainment.
- Transnational and National workshops where senior people from urban and rural areas will apply those instructions on smart appliances under the guidance of trainers.
- eSeniors Walk-in Labs where senior people will be able to visit to complete essential digital tasks and improve their digital skills.
(4)Accessible and free-of-charge material to seniors, adult educators, local authorities, governmental authorities.
()Implement awareness campaign addressing age discrimination and promoting an inclusive society for senior people.
